My name is Evelyn O’Toole and I am the principal here at Mercy Primary. Our school is located in the heart of Galway City which affords our children ample opportunities to actively participate in the diverse activities our local community has to offer such as visiting University of Galway, the Town Hall Theatre, the City Library and the many sports amenities that surround us.
Within our bright and spacious school building we have a sports hall, a fully surfaced enclosed yard with a multitude of child friendly equipment, an ASD class, a rooftop garden and Cubbie: our immersive multi-sensory space.
We are a Catholic school; however, all religious backgrounds are welcomed. I am extremely proud to be part of such a hard-working, dedicated, caring and creative team. The teachers are continuously upskilling so they can provide the children with the most up to date educational initiatives and offer our children a holistic educational experience.
